We have arrived!!

Well we finally arrived in Rio very early this morning.


Customs went quickly.  After they took our fingerprints, we grabbed our dented luggage without incident and found our contact immediately holding his little USOC sign.

 Safety is a high concern here at the airport.  Lots of armed soldiers here.

Our driver got us safely to the hotel (a little place called Plaza Spania) and we were so excited to get to our room.  We spent the morning fast asleep, attempting to catch up from the past 36 hours of travel.


We are making plans and catching up on ranking round news.  We will post more details later when we catch up with ourselves!!
